Official name have been announced for the virus COVID 19 ( previous known as 2019 novel coronavirus). 
Researchers suggest one of the closest known ancestors of the virus that cause COVID 19 emerged in bats more then 40 years ago.
Coronavirus capable of infecting humans may have been circulating undetected in bats for decades.
